Isometric projection of a fractal element
An isometric projection is a graphical representation, more specifically a cylindrical axonometric orthogonal. It is a visual representation of a three dimensional object in two dimensions, in which the three main orthogonal axes, when projected, forming an angle exceeding 90 degrees, and the dimensions parallel to the axes are measured in the same scale.
The term isometric comes from the Greek: "equal measure", as the measurement scale is the same in the three principal axes (x, y, z).
